As one of the most commonly used Aerosoft releases, the Airbus Professional package has undergone a major reboot and revival. Developed entirely for Prepar3D v4this is aimed at high-level hobbyists and at the professional market in general. As P3D v4 offers a bit system, this latest grouping can offer even more than previous add-ons could. While these cannot hit the same levels of realism, they are made available for use on lesser hardware when needed.

However, this major update is just that — major. This is a totally new build of the five aircraft listed above; not a re-touch of the original group. With new coding to help make the aircraft s more feasible, alongside new graphical and module changes, this is entirely new. With around two-thirds of the graphical changes completely new and three quarters of the coding, this is almost a new model altogether.

They are not part of the deal; you only receive the old editions for free when purchasing the new Professional range — not vice-versa. The release date at present is scheduled for Late for the A,and models. The bit editions will come first, with the bit editions released in early For those looking to utilize P3D v4s greater capabilities, bookmark this!

It wasnt that long ago that Xplane was shunned by most flight simmers in favour of FSX and P3D, a gigantic improvement to flight simming came into being with 64 bit and VR P3Dv4, but the major developers aside from PMDG and minority aircraft developers have simply not really taken up P3Dv4 64 bit.

Yet the 'real' black sheep minority using Xplane series suddenly saw a huge up turn in aircraft development by many of the major aircraft developers, even Orbx decided to support this black sheep of the family. Developers really need to get their acts togetherI say it will never come. And I mean really never! You remember Next Level Sim etc?

All dead projects. I fly with that for years already I wouldn't put the "confirmed" word on that news title, or even make an announcement if I was FS Elite. What Matt does with projectFLY is extremely good and I admire him for that, but from that to an A study sim, that's more than a huge step.

I hope he has a team that knows what that announcement requires and the skills and experience to do that. I understand the excitement when you can plan something like that, but personally I'd wouldn't announce something that big before it had already started taking place. Well one thing for sure is true: It needs to be done. That and the Dreamliner are soreley lacking in high quality renditions for flightsimulators.

No matter what platform. That's quite a long shot. As much as I respect Matt as a very good flightsim streamer, I think he is seriously loosing focus here. We are just only getting started with the logic with the A aircraft Jeehell FMGS, Prosim, etc and that has been with us for over 30 years. Soarbywire - Cockpit building simulation news and resource.

As much as I'd love to see something of this level for the A it may be a little early to announce I would think. Definitely looking at years of development for that.

Although I am looking forward to it if it is completed! Well, good luck to them. As everyone is well aware, that is a massive undertaking and one suspects it could have many pitfalls and barriers, but, in the words of Lao Tzu: 'a journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step'.

Check out my youtube flight sim videos: Here. Alan, you Mancunian philospher!!! Great news if it becomes a reality for both simulators as stated! Have been wanting a study level A for a long time.

However, you have the option of faster downloads by enabling our PRO membership.
